Woodlawn Sportslink players help the NDSL win the Kennedy Cup

Woodlawn Sportslink players help NDSL win the SFAI Umbro Kennedy Cup 

The NDSL have won the Kennedy Cup! It has been a long wait - 16 years - for the Cup to return to North Dublin.They faced DDSL, winners of the cup for the last 7 years, and in an epic final won 1-0. The SFAI Umbro Kennedy Cup is an annual competition for players who are U13 years. It is played between Leagues in Limerick University each June when teams representing all 32 Leagues compete over an entire week with additional competitions for those teams that do not advance in the Kennedy Cup itself.  We congratulate all the players and management from the U13 NDSL Academy on this fabulous achievement. We are especially proud of our players that contributed greatly to winning the Cup. The 9 Woodlawn Sportslink players are Lee Doyle, Andrew Gorman, Shane Darcy, Cian Fogarty, Sean Doyle, Glen Carragher, Aaron Elliot, James Casey and Gavin Kearney who was also Captain
