A NEW ERA FOR WOODLAWN SPORTSLINK

Under 19 Pathway to Senior Football ( Friday Night Football )

Woodlawn Sportslink will be running an Under 19 team next season (2013-2014), in the Leinster Senior League. Home games will be on Friday nights under Floodlights on the NDSL Pitch. Friday night Football is the future of Under 19s Football

We see this a natural next step in the Clubs development, We are committed to providing a pathway for all Woodlawn Sportslink players into Senior football.

Charity Cycle

Some of the over 35’s players are planning on doing a Charity Cycle so any players, managers or anybody who wants to go on an amazing road trip keep reading. It is a small cycle from Dublin to Carlow with a few pit stops for light refreshments along the way. If you are interested this is your chance to come on board Contact Mark on 0861573854. We are going on Friday the 21st of June with a match against Village FC from Carlow on Saturday who has been kindly raising money on their end for us to, a big thanks to the Village FC. Again this is all for a good cause to raise money for Autism Assistance Dogs (http://www.autismassistancedogsireland.ie/) any help is welcomed. Also there are sponsorship cards available if anyone wants one.

Mick Keegan from the Under 16 Premier team has decided to call it a day and step down from his coaching role and is now considering the Everton job offer. Ken & Deco Walsh and ALL the Players would like wish Mick all the best and thank him for all his support over the years.

Woodlawn Sportslink Junior Academy

When: Starting on Friday the 1st of March 2013

Time: 6pm till 7 pm

Location: Astropark

The Academy will run for 10 weeks until Friday the 3rd of May2013.

Registration will take place on pitch 1 in the Astropark on Friday 1st March at 5.45 pm Children need to be born between the years 2005 and 2007.

Children need to be at least 5 years of age on date of registration. There will be a subscription fee of €40 which will cover the 10 weeks of the academy.

If you are interested in sending your child to the Academy please contact Kevin Boylan on 087-6339380 as soon as possible as places are strictly limited.
